I just want to say thank you for all your help and assistance with the customer and technical support of your products. Not only have I received impeccable service, but prompt service as well. Here is my story. I called JW Performance on a Tuesday morning asking about a 727 torque flight for my 1993 Dodge Dakota set up for drag racing. I was at the point where I had put 4 A-518 transmissions in my truck because they couldn't handle to power of my engine. Eric had discussed with me about rebuilding the a-518, and then also told me that if I did not want to pull the transmission again that I should consider the JWP 727 with a manual valve body and the ultra bell, bell housing to become SFI approved. On that Thursday afternoon i received a phone call from Eric saying my transmission was ready for me to pick up. I was expecting the transmission to not be ready for two or so weeks. After putting in the Trans, I dropped a full second off my best time.

A couple of weeks ago I went back to the race track after only have being there once since putting in the JWP 727. I was backing the truck off the trailer to warm it up before staging, and when i went to shift into second gear it flared out. I double and triple checked the shift linkage thinking it was not properly aligned. It was correct. I decided it would be best to park it and drop the pan when I get home and check for any damage. After having the transmission in the truck for 7 months but only racing it once, ( due to a new born daughter) JWP stood behind their product, honored the warranty of the transmission and torque converter.

I have and I will keep on recommending everyone that asks about a transmission, to speak with JW Performance for all of their transmission needs.

It amazes me that however much power and abuse we throw at your products (trans, converters, wheels, ultra bells), they stand the test of time and has yet to let us down.

J.W. Performance transmissions is a very essential part to be installed in a racing car. Normally we don't have the trust in a tool from the first time, however; I found JW transmissions the best amongst lots of brands for its exceeding expectations efficiency and productivity. We have been running a JW Promod glide for the last 3 years without any failures. The transmissions we have definitely let us run our race program with confidence and reliability. We run these transmissions behind our 2000+hp, 1990 ProSteet Twin Turbo Mustang, that weighs 2600lbs. Our fastest pass to date has been a 6.79@209mph. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the entire JW Performance staff for the quality parts, professional services and outstanding technical support that you have provided to us over the past three years.  As a budget conscience bracket racer and small business owner, it is important that I align our race team and performance parts business with companies that share our goals; Quality, Performance and Customer Satisfaction.   The entire staff of JW Performance has proven time and time again that they are driven by these same goals.

As a performance parts distributor, I have a strong belief that we should use the parts that we distribute.   That is the reason our bracket car is running a JW Ultra Bell, JW Ultra Case, JW planetary gears, JW Ultra Comp converter and JW flex plate.  This set-up has proven to be reliable and consistent.  Since we installed the set-up in the spring of 2004, we have had no mechanical issues with the transmission and the yearly PM has become simply a disassembly, inspection and reassembly routine.   This is a true testament to the design, quality and workmanship of the JW components.
